So MATCHa Recovery

If you're into recovery, chocolate, and matcha as much as we are.. you're going to love this recovery smoothie bowl. Not only is it full of flavor and all natural ingredients, it's also packed with essential recovery nutrients courtesy of MODe plant-based protein. Matcha and chocolate you say?! Yeah, it's delicious. You should try it and rejoice in recovery MODe.

Smoothie Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops MODe Matcha Protein Powder
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 6-12oz almond milk or water (you can also use rice water or coconut milk)
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 heaping tbsp nut butter (we used almond butter)

Toppings:

  • Banana slices
  • Cocoa nibs
  • Coconut flakes
  • Chopped nuts (we used almonds and peanuts)
  • Optional: hemp seeds

Directions:

  1. Combine all smoothie ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. Depending how thick or thin you want it, you can add more milk. Remember: you can always add liquid but you can't remove it!
  2. Put smoothie into bowl and add desired toppings. 
  3. Eat and recover!
